McCarthy Strong is an organization started by the McCarthy Family in Hampton, NH in order to raise money to help pancreatic cancer research in collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Center & the Jimmy Fund. The organization is so named in honor of son, brother, twin, husband, father, and uncle – Stephen McCarthy – who passed away suddenly from pancreatic cancer in 2015.

We host a yearly 5K Walk + Run where proceeds are donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Center in support of their efforts to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. The annual event includes the walk, food, drawings for prizes, live music, and more.

We’re happy to have raised nearly $50,000 for our
3rd Annual McCarthy Strong 5K Walk + Run in 2017.

We will begin online registration for 2018 this winter.
